Thomas J. Cook is a dedicated public servant with over 40 years of experience working for the U.S. Government, including 30 years in Washington, D.C. He holds an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.

Now retired and a cancer survivor, Thomas is running for U.S. Representative to restore accountability, transparency, and service to the citizens of the United States, in line with the principles set forth by our nation’s founders in the U.S. Constitution.

Thomas believes that government must work for the people, not for itself. His core priorities as a candidate include:

Protecting Social Security and Medicare
Ensuring affordable healthcare for all Americans
Promoting affordable housing and lowering the cost of living
Providing student debt relief
Upholding fair and legal immigration
Strengthening safety measures for schools, churches, and synagogues
Raising the federal minimum wage
Supporting federal, state, county, and municipal employees with fair wages, benefits, and workplace safety
